Hawkins Resourcesis seekingfour experienced Heavy Diesel Fittersfor an immediate underground mining assignment at a well-established mine in Cobar, NSW.
This is athree-month contract commencing 1 September ****, offering an attractive flat hourly rate, even-time roster and supplied accommodation with possibility of ongoing work
What's on offer
$***** per hour, based on experience
Superannuation paid on all hours worked
8 days on, 6 days off
12-hour shifts
Accommodation supplied during rostered swings
daily meal allowance
DIDO position - personnel are responsible for travel to and from Cobar
Immediate commencement

The role
Fault-finding and diagnostics
Preventative maintenance and servicing
Hydraulic and mechanical repairs
Breakdown response
Inspections and defect reporting
Supporting protected and reliable underground production
Requirements
Applicants must have:
Australian-recognised Heavy Diesel or Mobile Plant trade qualification
Demonstrated experience maintaining heavy mobile equipment
Underground hard-rock mining experience
Strong hydraulic and mechanical fault-finding skills
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, functional assessment and drug and alcohol screening
A strong safety focus and reliable work history
Full Australian working rights
Experience on Sandvik DD421 and the Sandvik D311D-40
