We are looking for experiencedPuppet Engineers / Infrastructure Automation Engineersto join a large-scale enterprise technology environment in Sydney.
This is a hands-on infrastructure automation role suited to engineers with strongLinux/Unix and Puppet experiencewho are comfortable developing, maintaining and troubleshooting configuration management solutions in complex environments.
What you'll be doingDevelop and maintainPuppet manifests and modules
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
Build and supportInfrastructure as Code (IaC)solutions
Troubleshoot and optimise Puppet environments
Perform hands-onLinux/Unix systems administration
Support configuration and automation across large enterprise environments
Integrate infrastructure automation withGit and CI/CD pipelines
Develop automation scripts usingRuby, Bash and/or Python
Work closely with infrastructure, platform and DevOps engineering teams




Maintain technical documentation and contribute to automation best practices
What we're looking forStrong, recenthands-on Puppet experience
Experience developing or maintainingPuppet manifests/modules
StrongLinux/Unix infrastructure engineeringexperience
Good understanding of configuration management and infrastructure automation
Experience withInfrastructure as Code
Scripting experience withRuby, Bash or Python
Experience withGit and CI/CD
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
Experience working within large enterprise environments
Experience withPuppet Enterprise, RHEL/Red Hat, Terraform, Ansible, AWS or Azurewould be highly regarded.
The chance
You'll join a significant enterprise infrastructure program with an initial six-month engagement and potential for a further six-month extension.
