We are on the lookout for a customer service superstar to be a part of the team of a 105 rooms hotel near Chadstone shopping centre.
About the role
This is an exciting chance for an experienced receptionist or someone looking at starting in the industry.
You will be the first point of contact for our guests to assist them during their stay.
Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, you will provide timely responses to all guest requests, answer their queries and offer creative solutions to their needs whilst delivering the highest level of customer service.
It is essential that every experience our guests have with us is a positive one, as they are the key to our success!
The role in a nutshell
You willcreate memorable experiences for our guestswith your exceptional guest service skills.
You willCheck-in and Check-outguests.
You will have the confidence, patience and listening skills toaddress guests concernsand resolve conflicts, even when presented with stressful and challenging situations.
You willmaximize room sales and conversion of enquiresthrough pro-active sales activity.
You willprocess all reservationsreceived during your shift.
You will have the ability toliaise efficiently with all departmentsin the hotel.




You may completegeneral maintenance duties as required.
You will ensuresafety and securityrequirements are being met.
To be successful for this role you will need to have:
Anenthusiastic and friendlymanner
Superiorcommunication skills(verbal and written)
Preferably1 year of relevant experiencein a similar position
Theability towork with numbersand intermediary Excel skills
Excellentattention to detail,problem solving skillsand the ability to 'think on your feet'
Impeccablepersonal presentationand high standard of grooming
Local knowledgeof the area and greater Melbourne is a plus
The successful candidate must be available to work some weekdays, some weekends and public holidays.
Shifts will either be AM shift (7am-3pm) or PM shift (3pm-11pm).
Must be able to work unsupervised.
This is a casual role without guarantee on number of days offered, flexible availability is required to make the most of it.
