Adventure Cinematographer - Automotive / 4WD
A normal shoot might start before sunrise in a wet Victorian forest, following a 4WD through the trees to capture what a new driving light actually looks like at night.
The next could involve a rally car, our engineer and a prototype bracket that does not officially exist yet.
Another might be a winch test, a workshop install, a new product arriving from manufacturing or a controlled studio shoot where every reflection and highlight matters.
That is the world aroundALTIQ and Ultra Winch.
We design lighting, automotive electrical and recovery products for people who use their vehicles properly.
Forests, mountains, night driving, rally, remote trips, mud, workshops and testing give us plenty to point a camera at.
We now need someone who can turn that into exceptional content.
The role
We want afull-stack content producerwho can take an idea from:
concept → location → shot list → shoot → edit → grade → finished campaign.
You will create content for:
Shopify product pages
Meta advertising
Instagram and Facebook
Product launches
YouTube
Email campaigns
Technical explainers
Brand films
All production equipment is provided, with an ongoing budget for gear upgrades, wish-list purchases and shoot expenses.
The aim is to get more from every shoot.
A day in the forest should not produce one Reel.
It might produce a hero film, six paid-social cuts, product-page footage, still photography, technical clips and a library of material we can use for months.

Camera, lens and movement choices
Audio where required
Editing
Colour grading
Sound design
Meta ad variants and hooks
9:16, 4:5, 1:1 and 16:9 deliverables
Shopify product imagery and video




Organising footage and maintaining a usable content library
You will work directly with our director, engineers and product team rather than waiting for a marketing department to hand you a finished brief.
More than making things look positive
Some content needs to be cinematic.
Some needs to explain a technical feature in ten seconds.
Some needs to stop a thumb in the first two seconds and sell a product.
The right person understands the difference.
We are looking for someone who notices when the location is wrong, the light is flat, the shot does not explain the product properly or a 60-second edit actually contains five better ads hiding inside it.

Night driving through forest tracks
New spotlight beam patterns
Winch torture tests
Rally and competition vehicles
Prototype brackets and engineering projects
Product launches
Vehicle installations
Outdoor trips and testing
Detailed studio product cinematography
Customer and ambassador vehicles
Behind-the-scenes product development
There is a strong technical side to our products.
Part of the challenge is turning engineering details into something visually interesting and immediately understandable.
Who we're looking for
A strong portfolio matters more than a particular qualification.
You should be capable in:
Cinematography
Photography
Editing
Colour grading
Lighting
Composition
Short-form commercial content
Product storytelling
Working independently from concept through delivery
Experience with automotive, motorsport, 4WD, outdoor, action-sports or technical products is highly regarded.
Experience creatingpaid social content that actually has to perform commerciallyis even better.
Drone capability is useful but not essential.
What it's not.
This is not social-media administration.
You will not spend the week scheduling inspirational quotes and looking for something to post on Thursday.
The core job is togo out, make strong original material and turn it into content that can work across the entire business.
