We're looking for a reliable and motivatedAir Conditioning Installation Trade Assistantto join our close-knit team.
This full-time position offers hands-on experience, ongoing training and genuine opportunities to develop your skills within the air conditioning industry.

About the role
Working alongside our experienced installation team, you will:
Assist with the preparation and installation of ducted and split-system air conditioning systems
Prepare equipment, materials, tools and system components
Support tradespeople across residential installation projects
Communicate professionally with customers, builders and other trades
Help maintain clean, protected and organised work areas
Learn and apply practical air conditioning and installation knowledge
Complete work carefully and to AFA Air's high standards
About you
The ideal candidate will be:
Punctual, honest and dependable
Self-motivated with a positive attitude




Practical, organised and willing to learn
A clear and respectful communicator
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Committed to quality workmanship and safe work practices
Professional and respectful when working in customers' homes and on building sites
Qualifications and experience
A current driver's licence isessential
A White Card is desirable
Previous air conditioning, construction or trade-assistant experience would be an advantage, but isnot essential
A strong work ethic and willingness to learn are highly valued
