AAM Investment Group is seeking aTalent and Learning Coordinatorto join our People and Culture (P&C;) team, based inBrisbane.
This is a broad, hands-on opportunity for someone looking to build their career acrosstalent acquisition, learning and development, workforce capability and employee experience.
AAM is a diverse investment and operational business.
Our workforce spanscorporate and fund management functions through to agricultural and operational environments across regional Australia.
This means no two days are necessarily the same, and the role provides exposure to the different workforce, capability and compliance requirements that come with supporting a geographically dispersed and diverse organisation.
Working closely with the broader P&C; team and leaders across the business, you will support activities across theend-to-end talent and learning lifecyclefrom attracting and onboarding new employees through to coordinating learning, maintaining workforce capability and compliance, and supporting broader talent and engagement initiatives.
We are looking for someone who is organised, curious andkeen to learn.
You don't need to know everything from day one; what is key is that you are willing to get involved, build relationships across the business and develop your capability in ahighly regulated and operationally diverse environment.
What you'll bring to the role:
Your role will provide exposure across talent, learning and workforce capability, including:
Supporting end-to-end recruitment activities, including advertising roles, candidate screening, interview coordination, candidate communication and pre-employment activities
Coordinating employee onboarding and induction, helping to create a consistent experience for new starters across our corporate and operational businesses
Supporting the administration of AAM's learning and workforce capability focuses' including maintaining accurate training records and monitoring mandatory and compliance-based training
Assisting with the development and maintenance of online learning, training resources, guides and supporting materials
Working with leaders and operational teams to understand workforce capability and training requirements across different roles, locations and businesses
Liaising with external training providers and coordinating training bookings, attendance and associated administration
Supporting talent and workforce initiatives, including career development, succession planning, employee engagement and capability programs
Building effective working relationships with employees and leaders across corporate, fund management and agricultural operations
Ensuring employee information is handled appropriately, and activities are undertaken in accordance with AAM policies, procedures and relevant legislative requirements
What we are looking for:
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about building a career inTalent, Learning and Capabilityand enjoys working in a varied environment.
Ideally, you will bring:
Qualifications or studies in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Business, Psychology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
Some previous experience in HR, recruitment, learning and development, training administration or a coordination role would be advantageous
Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple activities, stakeholders and deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence communicating with people at different levels of an organisation
A high level of attention to detail, particularly when managing employee, recruitment and training information
Confidence using Microsoft Office and an ability to quickly learn new systems and technology
A genuine interest in talent acquisition, learning, workforce development and employee experience
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while taking ownership of your own responsibilities
Sound judgement and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
Most importantly, a willingness to learn, ask questions and get involved in the broad range of activities required to support a diverse workforce
Experience in agriculture, investment management or another highly regulated or operational environment would be valuable but is not essential.
