EXPERIENCED MECHANICAL or DIESEL FITTER - PAGET WORKSHOP
REQUIRED FOR IMMEDIATE START
Central Qld Hydraulics is a well established business which Designs, Manufactures, conducts Services and Repairs on T Pumps, Motors, Hyd Cylinders in our Paget Workshop.
We also Install, Commission and maintain Hydraulic and Fluidpower Systems for Mine sites in the Bowen Basin.
THE POSITIONS -
We are seeking an Experienced Fitter for the following roles -
Mechanical and/or diesel fitting in our workshop repairing Hydraulic Cylinders, Pumps, Motors, Valves etc. and servicing Trucks in our trucking division.
The position would also include Welding Fabrication, Lathing, rebuilds and Manufacture of Hydraulic equipment.
The successful applicant may also be required to occasionally work at Goonyella Riverside Mine assisting with Grease Lubrication, Servicing, Test & Tagging.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS –
Qualified Trade Certificate in Fitting & Turning, Diesel or Mechanical.
Have a sound understanding of Fluidpower principles & Lubrication Systems.
Ability to Read & Interpret Hydraulic Circuit Drawings.




Experience in the Overhaul, Testing, Diagnosis & Repair of Hydraulic Cylinders, Motors, Pumps and Valves.
Experience with Servicing & Maintaining Trucks, Forklifts & EWP's.
Excellent communication skills & Computer Competency.
Standard 11 Certification, Coal Board Medical and BHP Inductions.
Working at Heights, Confined Space Certificates.
