Lachlan Shire Council is seeking a motivatedPlant Operator Level 3 - Backhoeto join our Roads team!
Based inCondobolinbut working across the entire shire, thisfull-timeposition is responsible for the operation of the backhoe, working with a variety of gangs and conducting general labouring duties from plant operation, truck driving and concrete works.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Heavy Rigid Drivers Licence (or willing to obtain within 3 months)
The ability to safely operate a Backhoe
Previous work related experience
Construction Induction Certificate (White Card)
Good communication & customer service skills
Good literacy skills
Knowledge of plant maintenance
The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.

What we Offer
Salary and Conditions:
Salary range:$2,****** to $2,****** per fortnight
Starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
Position classified atGrade 5within Council's Salary Structure.
Employment conditions in accordance with theLocal Government (State) Award.
