About the role
We're looking for two experienced Dental Assistants to join our Cabarita Beach practice: one full-time, one casual.
The full-time role works 38 hours across four days, supporting our dentists chairside across preventative, restorative and surgical procedures for patients of all ages.
The casual role covers every Saturday, plus one to two weekdays depending on what the practice needs that week.
Both roles suit someone with solid dental assisting experience who enjoys working closely with patients as part of a close-knit clinical team.
What you'll be doing
Assisting chairside during preventative, restorative and surgical procedures
Preparing treatment rooms, instruments and materials for each patient
Sterilising instruments and maintaining infection control standards throughout the practice
Keeping treatment rooms and clinical areas clean,



organised and well stocked
Welcoming, comforting and supporting patients throughout their visit
Assisting with basic administrative or reception tasks as required
What we're looking for
Essential
2+ years' experience in a dental assisting role, including chairside support
Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilisation processes
A caring, professional and patient-focused approach
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Preferred
Certificate III in Dental Assisting
Familiarity with Dental for Windows (D4W) software
