Looking to join one of Australia's most integralfederal government departments?
This department helps to make life of all Australians safer and is looking for a2 x System Engineers.
Working in Brisbane or Melbourne office, you will be focused onengineering fortheir real time tracking and communications platforms.
This is an end to end role working onall aspects of systems engineering (design, planning, deliveryetc).
Aside from the above you will be responsible for
Engineering through system design, implementation and support
Supporting existing communications infrastructure
Creation of engineering reports, specifications, feasibility studies etc
Reporting, specifications, documentation of systems
Configuration of systems including hardware, software/firmware, and documentation




These roles are looking for engineers with a background incommunications systemsas wellreal time systems.
As such we are looking to see:
End to end engineering from implementation, support, monitoring etc
Robust understanding of theSystems Engineering lifecycle
Telecommunications systems engineering
Analogue voice audio hardware and circuitry
N-tier architectures knowledge beneficial
Real time systems experience highly beneficial
Have or qualify as a Registered Professional Engineer (RPEQ)
Australian citizenship with the ability to get a security clearance
On offer to the successful candidate will be a contract role with a duration of 2 yearsrates based on your experience around$**** per day.
This role is based in theBrisbane or Melbourne office with a work from home split of 3 days onsite.
