Business Development Manager - Short Term Rentals
We are seeking aBusiness Development Manager - Short Term Rentalsto join Live Luxe Pty Ltd in Port Melbourne, Victoria.
This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role in driving growth and expansion within our short-term rental portfolio.
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining key partnerships, and developing strategies that enhance our market presence and revenue streams.
This role is essential to our ambitions of becoming a leading player in the luxury short-term rental market.
Key responsibilities
Identify, evaluate and pursue recent business opportunities within the short-term rental sector, including property acquisitions and partnership collaborations
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, investment partners, and key stakeholders in the hospitality and tourism industry
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business strategy and identify emerging trends in the short-term rental market
Negotiate and finalise agreements with new property owners
Collaborate with internal teams including Chief Operating Officer and Head of Growth to ensure successful implementation of new business initiatives
Monitor and report on business development performance metrics, including pipeline growth, conversion rates and partnership outcomes
Represent Live Luxe Pty Ltd at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and identify new prospects
What we're looking for
2+ years of experience in business development, sales management or similar roles within hospitality, tourism or a related industry




Demonstrated success in identifying and closing new business opportunities and building profitable partnerships
Strong understanding of the short-term rental market, vacation rental platforms and online hospitality trends
Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term relationships
Proven capability in market analysis, strategic planning and business forecasting
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences
Strong numeracy skills and proficiency with business analytics and financial modelling
Self-motivated and results-driven with a track record of exceeding targets and driving revenue growth
A valid Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle for local property visits
