This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring that projects, services, and workflows run efficiently and align with company standards and client expectations.
Key tasks include managing operational teams, monitoring performance metrics, coordinating scheduling and resource allocation, and improving processes to support safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
The Operations Manager will collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to plan operations, resolve issues, manage vendors, and support compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.




The role also involves preparing reports, contributing to strategic planning, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.QualificationsDemonstrated experience in operations management, including overseeing daily workflows and resource planning.Previous Defence Experience would be a beneficial.
Strong skills in process improvement, performance monitoring, and implementing operational best practices.Experience leading teams, providing coaching and feedback, and fostering a collaborative and accountable culture.Competence in budgeting, cost control, and basic financial analysis related to operational activities.Proficiency with relevant software tools such as ERP systems, project management platforms, and Microsoft Office.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external partners.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Understanding of safety, quality, and compliance requirements in operational or technical settings.Bachelor's degree in business, operations, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience in Australian industrial, technical, or service sectors is beneficial.
