Challenge Pumps is a leading provider of end-to-end mine dewatering solutions servicing the underground mining sector.
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliableTrades Assistantto join our Kewdale workshop team.
This role is suited to someone who is early in their career, eager to build practical mechanical skills, and looking for a long-term opportunity within a structured and growing business.
The Role
Reporting to theServices Manager, this position plays a key role in supporting workshop productivity and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Working alongside experienced tradespeople, responsibilities include:
Assisting with assembly and preparation of equipment
Supporting mechanical fitters and machinists with workshop tasks
Operating a forklift to move equipment and materials
Assisting with lifting and positioning of components safely
Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment
What We're Looking For
Non-Negotiables
Current Forklift Licence




Confident forklift operation in a workplace setting
Punctual and reliable
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Genuine interest in mechanical work and how equipment functions
Seeking long-term employment and development
