This role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoysworking with large data sets, improving processes and using technology to make finance more efficient and accurate.
You don't need to be highly senior.
We're looking for someone who is ahands‐on doer, with strong finance fundamentals and the ability to get stuck into projects and deliver outcomes.This could be an ideal opportunity for a Big 4 first mover looking to transition into industry, as well as candidates on aWorking Holiday Visa.
About the role
You'll be involved in a range of finance transformation and process improvement initiatives, including:
Building and improvingAlteryx workflowsto automate finance processes
Working with large data sets and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
Reviewing processes to ensure they are accurate, controlled and minimise financial risk
Supportingsystem implementationsand finance-related projects
Identifying potential risks and ensuring new processes and systems make sense from a finance perspective
Helping modernise and streamline existing finance processes
Working with stakeholders across different teams and locations, including interstate teams
Ensuring processes are accurate, efficient and fit for purpose

About You
Solidaccounting/finance experience, ideally from aBig 4 workplace
Experience working withlarge data sets
Hands‐onAlteryx experience, ideally with the ability to build and improve workflows
An interest infinance transformation, automation and process improvement
Experience or exposure tosystem implementations
Strong attention to detail and an understanding of financial controls and risk
Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders across different teams
A practical, hands‐on approach and a willingness to get into the detail
The opportunity This is an initial
6-month contractoffering the opportunity to work on meaningful finance transformation initiatives within a large and complex Engineering environment.
