Access Services Group is a leading provider to Australia's sales and rental equipment industry, delivering high-quality service, maintenance, and support across a fleet that includes scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, lighting towers, and generators from globally recognised brands such as Genie, JLG, Merlo, and Globe Power.
We're growing and we're looking for a high-performing Workshop Production Supervisor to take ownership of our St Marys workshop operations and help drive efficiency, performance, and team success.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role - not a desk-based planning position.
You'll have a visible presence in the workshop, leading daily activity, controlling workflow, managing priorities, and ensuring equipment is turned around safely, efficiently, and on time.
Working Monday to Friday (7:00am - 5:00pm), you'll play a critical role in supporting the continued growth and success of our St Marys branch.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prioritise, and manage daily workshop workflow and out-of-service schedules
Coordinate labour, materials, and equipment to maximise productivity
Monitor job progress and adjust schedules to meet deadlines and customer expectations
Maintain accurate records in InspHire, ensuring real-time visibility of workshop activity
Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime
Provide clear communication across departments regarding job status and schedule changes
Produce performance and status reports for management
Take full accountability for workshop operations and output
Champion a strong safety culture aligned with our Zero Harm commitment
What you will bring

Strong leadership capability with a safety-first mindset
Proven experience supervising or controlling a mechanical service/repair workshop, ideally within equipment hire, access equipment, heavy machinery, automotive, or a similar industry (essential)
Demonstrated experience leading technicians/tradespeople, allocating work, and driving accountability and productivity
Strong organisational and time management skills - you thrive under pressure
Strong mechanical understanding or trade background (highly regarded)
Experience scheduling systems and MRP software
EWP ticket (advantageous, training available)
Confident communicator who can coordinate across teams and priorities
Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Why Join Us
Competitive salary aligned to your experience
Ongoing training and development opportunities
Supportive leadership team and positive team culture
Be part of a growing, stable organisation in a thriving industry
Recognition programs that reward your contribution
Robust safety culture with a genuine Zero Harm focus
Access to Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for wellbeing support
We live by People, Safety, Respect, Communication, and Continuous Improvement - and we're looking for someone who does the same.
If you are ready to take ownership of workshop performance and make a genuine impact within a growing business, we would love to hear from you.
Access Services Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
We value diversity and encourage applications from women and Indigenous candidates.
Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
