You will be responsible for the delivery and coordination of surveying activities on site.
This is a site-based role suited to an experienced surveyor who is comfortable taking responsibility for the day-to-day survey requirements of a major project, working independently while being supported by the wider Lynton Surveys team.
Key responsibilities
Establishment, verification and maintenance of survey control networks
Construction set-out from IFC drawings and project models
As-built surveys, verification and reporting
Earthworks and civil construction surveying
Survey data processing and preparation of deliverables
Maintaining survey records, control registers and QA documentation
Liaising with site engineers, supervisors, contractors and project management
Identifying and reporting design or construction discrepancies
Providing practical survey advice to the project teamOffice processing and preparation of survey data using 12d Model
About you
An Australian-recognised surveying qualification
Strong engineering/construction surveying experience
Demonstrated experience with 12d Model and 12d Field
Strong construction set-out and as-built survey experience
Experience establishing and maintaining survey control
Competence with contemporary total stations and GNSS equipment
Ability to interpret construction drawings and digital design models
Good survey data management and QA skills
Ability to work independently and manage site survey priorities
