We are seeking an experienced and a high-performing sales leader with strong industry networks, strategic commercial acumen, and a passion for developing people and building customer partnerships to lead our Neurosurgery business in Australia and Current Zealand, driving commercial growth across a portfolio of innovative neurosurgical consumables and capital equipment solutions.
As National Sales Manager-Neurosurgery, reporting to the Director, Aesculap Core, you will lead a team of Sales and Clinical Specialists across ANZ, delivering sustainable growth,
strengthening key customer relationships, and driving commercial excellence across both public and private healthcare sectors.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping business strategy, managing major customer accounts, developing national agreements, and leading distributor partnerships.
Your Responsibilities
In this role you will-
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Neurosurgery team across ANZ
Drive sales growth across consumable and capital equipment portfolios
Develop and execute strategic account plans with major healthcare providers
Build and maintain relationships with executive and clinical decision-makers
Negotiate and implement commercial agreements and bundled solutions
Lead national tender submissions and contract negotiations
Manage distributor partnerships, performance metrics and business reviews
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
To be successful in this role, your background will include:
Several years sales and marketing experience in the field of medical devices
Strong knowledge of the Australian neurosurgery market
Experience selling capital equipment and/or consumable medical products
Success managing complex tenders, contracts and commercial agreements
Highly developed stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
Experience working with hospital executives, procurement teams and clinicians
Strong coaching, leadership and team development capability
Ability to influence at all levels and drive strategic outcomes
Additional requirement :
To be eligible to apply, you must have full working rights in Australia/NZ, a valid Driver's Licence, the ability to travel nationally and internationally as required and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
