We can be flexible with the hours worked , the role could be full-time or part-time if required.
About the Role
This varied, hands-on role combines managed payroll services, customer support and workforce management systems.
You will manage multiple client payrolls, build strong client relationships and help businesses improve their payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities
Process and monitor multiple client payrolls accurately and within strict deadlines
Maintain regular contact with your portfolio of clients and provide friendly, knowledgeable support
Help clients adopt payroll best practices and resolve issues before they escape
Research payroll-related questions and advise on modern award interpretation
Troubleshoot payroll, timekeeping, rostering and workforce management queries
Configure software, enter data and prepare reports as required
Support HR functionality and ensure every payroll is accurate, efficient and compliant
About You
You arepassionate, proactive and committed to excellent customer service.
You enjoy learning, investigating problems and following them through to a practical solution.
You will ideally demonstrate:
Payroll experience and knowledge of payroll legislation, modern awards and compliance requirements
Excellent literacy, communication and client relationship skills
Solid attention to detail, logical thinking and problem-solving ability
The confidence to research payroll questions and handle sensitive information professionally
Experience with payroll, time and attendance, rostering or HR systems, or relevant call centre or professional services experience
Confidence using and learning new technology
A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work
You do not need to know everything from day one.
What matters most is that you ask questions, take ownership and are motivated to become an outstanding payroll professional.
