The canteen assistant role is a Permanent Part-time Position.
The canteen operates Monday to Friday and requires availability between 7am and 2.30pm.
It is a term-based position and hours may vary depending on the needs of the canteen.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and use initiative and have excellent communication and organisational skills as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a high level of personal and qualified presentation.
Key responsibilities
Customer service (including cash handling and use of our POS system)
Restocking fridges and food displays
Stock rotation
Assist with internal school catering
General cleaning and hygiene duties throughout the canteen
Other duties as directed by the Canteen Convenor
Comply with health and safety food handling regulations
Experience in food preparation is desirable.
Applicants must hold a current Qld Working with Children (Paid Employee) Blue Card
