What you will get:Outstanding hourly rates, paid weeklyFlexible roster, choose your shifts from our appOpportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of elderly residentsWhat you will have:Previous experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen environmentPrevious experience in aged care cookeryCertificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualificationA valid driver's licenceFlexibility to work shifts typically scheduled Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, noting that hours may vary depending on the site.Ability to provide or obtain a valid Police CheckWorking With Children Check (Blue Card) is highly regarded, but not strictly needed.Knowledge of dietary requirements and experience catering to a range of nutritional needs.Ability to independently prepare and cook meals for a small group of residents.Experience working with care teams to meet individual dietary needs,



including allergies, intolerances and cultural preferences.Familiarity with HACCP standards, WHS requirements and safe food-handling practices.Ability to maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Genuine care and compassion for the wellbeing of residents.Uniform: White long-sleeved Chef jacket, chef pants, knives, apron, chef hat, safety shoesBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
