Tax Accountant | 3-6 Month Contract | Melbourne | Immediate start
FourQuarters are currently recruiting for a Tax Accountant to join a well-established finance team on a 3-6 month contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tax professional looking to step into a busy, collaborative environment and make an immediate impact.
The Role:
Working as part of the tax team, you'll provide support across a range of tax compliance activities, ensuring obligations are met accurately and on time.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and lodging BAS, GST and IAS returns
Assisting with monthly tax compliance activities
Supporting the preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns
Assisting with income tax returns as required
Working closely with the wider finance team to ensure compliance deadlines are met
Providing ad hoc tax support across the business
About You:
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
Around 3-5 years' experience in tax accounting
Robust experience with indirect tax compliance, including BAS, GST and IAS
Exposure to FBT and income tax compliance
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
Availability to commence at short notice will be highly regarded
