Job Description
As theAccounts Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the day‐to‐day financial operations of Liquip Victoria.
You'll work closely with the Finance Manager and operational teams to ensure accurate processing, timely reporting, and smooth financial workflows across the business
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage AP processing
Processing of personnel expenses
Processing and reconciliation of credit card transactions
Raising ad hoc purchase orders when required
Set up new suppliers in MYOB / Ostendo
Set up payments in the bank
Assist with auditors where required
Filling out Supplier credit Applications
Look for improvements and efficiencies in the process
Provide back up for the team where required
Any other duty as directed by the Finance Manager
Qualifications
1–3 years' experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting support
Robust understanding of basic accounting principles
Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or service‐based environment (preferred but not essential)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both finance and operational teams
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, filters, VLOOKUP ideal)
A proactive, solutions‐focused approach to problem‐solving
A track record of coming up with solutions, efficiencies and enhancements in roles you have completed in the past
