Metal Mates Hunter is seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Person to join our team in Cessnock, NSW.
This is a full-time position based on-site at our facility.
As a Yard Person, you will be a vital member of our operations team, responsible for maintaining our yard, managing materials, and supporting the smooth running of our daily operations.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a practical environment where your contributions directly impact the efficiency and safety of our workplace.Key responsibilitiesMaintaining a clean, organised and safe yard environment at all timesSorting, stacking and storing materials in designated areas according to operational requirementsLoading and unloading materials from vehicles using appropriate equipment and manual handling techniquesOperating yard equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacksAssisting with inventory management and stock rotation to ensure materials are readily accessibleMonitoring yard security and reporting any issues or discrepancies to managementPerforming general maintenance tasks around the yard including sweeping, tidying and minor repairsSupporting other team members and assisting with ad-hoc tasks as requiredAdhering to all health and safety regulations and company policiesWhat we're looking forTo succeed in this role,
