Permanent Experienced Medical Receptionist required for busy General PracticeTandem Health is a family-owned General Practice in Labrador.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Senior Medical Receptionist for 4 shifts (minimum 30 hours) per week.
Must be able to do open (7:30am) and/or close shift (5:30pm).
No weekends or public holidays.The role encompasses a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:Welcoming patients and visitorsHandling phone inquiries and messagesScheduling and confirming appointmentsKeeping the reception and waiting areas tidyManaging Medicare billings and paymentsPerforming faxing, filing, and mailing tasksUpholding confidentiality of all patient informationEnsuring operations adhere to established policies and proceduresThe successful candidate will:Exhibit a friendly, enthusiastic demeanor,
prioritising patient care as the first point of contact for the medical centerPrior experience in a General Practice setting is desiredDemonstrate robust organisational skills and reliabilityPay meticulous attention to detailCollaborate effectively within a team to maintain smooth operationsPossess their own reliable transportationPreferably have experience with Best Practice SoftwarePreferably have knowledge of TyroPreferably have knowledge of Medicare MBS and WorkcoverComplete any required training as mandated by the employerPlease be advised that only successful candidates will be contacted.
