Glenworth Valley Wilderness Adventures is currently seeking enthusiastic and friendly Horse Riding Adventure Guides to join our team.Glenworth Valley is Australia's largest horse riding and outdoor adventure centre, set on a spectacular 3,000-acre wilderness property on the NSW Central Coast.
We offer horse riding, kayaking, quad biking, abseiling, laser skirmish, camping, events, accommodation and more.This is a unique opportunity to work outdoors, ride through beautiful natural surrounds, and be part of a fun, supportive and active team.About the RoleAs a Horse Riding Adventure Guide, you will help deliver safe, enjoyable and memorable horse riding experiences for our guests.Guiding horse riding tours through Glenworth ValleyProviding friendly, professional customer serviceAssisting guests of varying riding abilitiesHandling, preparing and caring for horsesSaddling, unsaddling and general horse dutiesAssisting with behind-the-scenes stable and property tasksWorking as part of a busy outdoor adventure teamAbout YouWe are looking for someone who:Has a warm, friendly and professional personalityLoves working with horses and peopleHas a strong customer service focusIs energetic,



reliable and happy to work outdoorsIs physically fit and capable of hands-on workCan communicate well with a wide range of guestsIs available on weekends and/or school holidaysIs over 18 years of ageIs a non-smokerStrong horse riding and horse handling experience is beneficial, however attitude, customer service and willingness to learn are just as significant.
As a guide, you would typically need to have ridden at least 100 times to be proficient enough for the role, however training can be provided for the right person.Employment is offered on a casual basis.Typical hoursMonday to Friday: approximately 8:00am – 5:00pmWeekends: approximately 7:30am – 5:30pmThe base rate of pay is $***** per hour, plus superannuation.
Applicable allowances and entitlements, including first aid, laundry, uniform and breaks, will be paid in addition where applicable.New team members may commence at an introductory trainee level while completing training and induction, in accordance with the Amusement, Events and Recreation Award ****.
Once successfully trained and inducted as a Guide, the rate will adjust accordingly.Why Work With Us?
