This is a full-time apprenticeship position based in Keysborough, VIC ****.
As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of HVAC-R systems whilst completing your formal training through a registered apprenticeship programme.
This role is crucial to developing the next generation of skilled tradespeople in our industry and offers genuine pathways to a long-term career in a growing field.What you'll be doingAssisting experienced HVAC-R tradespeople on installation, maintenance and repair work of air conditioning and refrigeration systemsLearning to diagnose faults in HVAC-R equipment using diagnostic tools and testing equipment under supervisionAssisting with the safe handling, storage and disposal of refrigerants in accordance with environmental and safety regulationsHelping to prepare work sites, ensuring tools and materials are organised and ready for techniciansLearning to install, maintain and repair ducting, pipework and electrical components on HVAC-R systemsAttending formal training at a registered training organisation (RTO)
