Pyramid Consultants Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and customer-focusedCustomer Service Officerto join our client's team on a full-time basis at Brooklyn, Victoria office.
Our client within Logistics and transport industry is seeking a motivated and customer-focused professional to join their Head Office Customer Service team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building customer relationships, and working in a fast-paced transport and logistics environment.
You will be responsible for supporting customers with freight enquiries, tracking shipments, resolving service issues, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop leadership skills and progress into a Customer Service Manager position as the business continues to grow.
Key responsibilities:
Manage inbound customer enquiries via phone and email.
Track and monitor freight movements across the national network.
Provide customers with timely updates regarding deliveries and service issues.
Investigate and resolve freight-related enquiries and claims.
Liaise with operations, drivers, depot teams, and customers to ensure smooth freight movement.




Maintain accurate customer records and service reports.
Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and service delivery.
Assist in training and supporting recent team members as experience grows.
What we're looking for
Authorized to work in Australia
Previous customer service experience (transport or logistics experience highly regarded).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
