As our mechanical division continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and motivatedAutomotive Mechanic with strong diagnostic and fault-finding skillsto join our team.
About the Role
This is a great opportunity for a qualified and experienced mechanic who enjoysdiagnostics, problem-solving and hands-on mechanical workand wants to play an important role in the continued growth of the workshop.
You will work as part of asmall mechanical team, collaborating closely with theBusiness Directorand our wider team of experienced automotive tradespeople.
Your responsibilities will include:
Vehicle servicing and preventative maintenance
Mechanical and electrical diagnostics
Fault finding and troubleshooting
Identifying and accurately diagnosing vehicle faults
Mechanical repairs and component replacement
Inspection and assessment of fleet and insurance-related vehicles
Using diagnostic equipment and scan tools
Maintaining accurate job and repair information
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:




Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technologyor equivalent recognised qualification
10+ years' experience as a qualified Automotive Mechanic is highly desirable
Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Confidence usingmodern diagnostic equipment and scan tools
Sound understanding of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems
Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
Valuable organisational and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities efficiently
Strong communication skills and the ability to work professionally within a team
A proactive, reliable and positive approach to your work
Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
Willingness to continue developing your technical and diagnostic skills
A currentmanual driver's licence with no restrictions
Current working rights in Australia are essential
