About the Practice
We are a new gastroenterology specialist clinic based in Marion, providing high-quality, patient-centred care to patients across Southern Adelaide.

About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy medical environment and takes pride in providing excellent service to patients and referring GP clinics.
Key responsibilities include:
Welcoming and assisting patients in a professional and compassionate manner
Managing appointment bookings and coordinating clinic schedules
Handling phone enquiries and liaising with referring GP practices
Processing patient registrations and maintaining accurate medical records
Providing administrative support to the practitioners
Contributing to the efficient day-to-day operations of the practice
The role is primarily based at our Marion headquarters, with occasional travel to support consulting sessions at off-site locations (off-site locations include Stirling Hospital,
Seaford Hospital, Glenelg Community Hospital, Victor Medical Centre).
Travel mileage will be reimbursed in accordance with practice policy.
About You
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Robust organisational and prioritisation abilities
Confidence using computer systems and basic administrative software
A proactive attitude with good attention to detail
Professionalism and respect when interacting with patients and colleagues
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in medical reception or healthcare administration is preferred but not essential, as training in practice software and clinic workflows will be provided.
