ISS is looking for areliable and professional Driverto join our Defence team at Garden Island.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, working with people and being part of a professional team supporting Defence operations.
About the Role
As a Defence Driver, you will:
Safely transport Defence personnel across site
Operate vehicles in accordance with site and safety requirements
Complete daily vehicle inspections
Follow all site, safety and security procedures
Provide friendly and professional customer service
Maintain a high standard of vehicle presentation and cleanliness
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Holds acurrent Australian Driver's Licence
Holds aHeavy Vehicle Licence (HR or above)
Has bus driving experience (desirable)
Holds a validPTD (Passenger Transport Driver) licence
Has a safe driving history
Is reliable, punctual and safety focused




Has good communication and customer service skills
Can work independently and as part of a team
Takes pride in providing a skilled service
Previous driving, transport or customer service experience is highly regarded.
Requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain aDefence Baseline Clearance
Current Australian Driver's Licence
ValidHeavy Vehicle Licence (HR or above)
ValidPTD licence
Ability to complete pre-employment medical requirements, including Drug & Alcohol screening
Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one
