We are seeking an experienced and proactiveMaintenance Coordinatorto join our Facilities & Maintenance team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in maintaining the reliability, safety, and performance of our critical infrastructure while supporting operational excellence across our facilities.
Reporting to the Facilities Maintenance Manager, you will coordinate maintenance activities, manage contractors and vendors, oversee maintenance planning systems, and ensure the successful delivery of preventative and corrective maintenance programs.

What You'll Be Doing
Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance activities across critical facility infrastructure.
Plan and manage maintenance work orders through the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and specialist vendors to ensure works are completed safely and in accordance with site requirements and legislation.
Monitor and manage facility assets, inventory, and infrastructure records.
Schedule maintenance activities and allocate resources to meet operational and contractual commitments.
Track contractor performance and ensure service level agreements (SLAs)



are achieved.
Support facility audits and compliance requirements.
Act as an escalation point for facility and production-related infrastructure issues.
Maintain high levels of asset reliability by prioritising and coordinating maintenance activities.
Coordinate labour and material requirements with maintenance teams and supply chain stakeholders.
Assist with remediation and recovery activities relating to building power, mechanical, hydraulic, and other critical systems.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, efficiency, and sustainability.
Participate in performance and availability reporting.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Experience
Previous experience in Facilities Coordination, Building Operations, Maintenance Planning, or Maintenance Management.
Experience coordinating contractors and managing maintenance programs.
Experience using CMMS systems and maintenance management software (MEX experience highly regarded).
Experience using SAP or similar enterprise systems.
Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety and safe work practices.
Experience within a maintenance, manufacturing, industrial, or workshop workplace.
Exposure to quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
Qualifications
Trade qualification or tertiary qualification in Facilities Management, Building Services, Engineering, Maintenance, or a related disciplineis desirable but not essential.




Skills & Attributes
Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to coordinate across multiple departments including Engineering, Stores, Operations and Supply Chain.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement principles.
Proactive and process-driven approach to work.
Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Robust attention to detail and commitment to delivering outcomes.
