Office Manager – Queensland
Full-Time | Permanent | Onsite
Be the person who keeps our Queensland office running smoothly.
Corrosion Control Engineering (CCE) is looking for an organised, proactive and capable Office Manager to become a key part of our Queensland team.
This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys being at the centre of a busy office, keeping things organised, supporting engineers and project teams, coordinating travel and administration, and making sure the day-to-day details are taken care of.
You'll work closely with our Regional Manager and broader team and will be an important point of contact for employees, clients, suppliers and contractors.
If you're someone who sees what needs doing, takes ownership and enjoys bringing order to a fast-moving environment, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
Coordinating the day-to-day administration and operation of the Queensland office
Providing administrative support to engineers, project personnel and the wider team
Coordinating project travel, accommodation, medicals and mobilisation requirements
Reconciling expenses and processing claims through MYOB
Assisting with accounts receivable invoicing, purchase orders and invoice processing
Maintaining project files, company records, registers and document control systems
Supporting the preparation and formatting of reports, tenders and technical documentation
Coordinating office supplies, facilities, maintenance and service providers
Organising meetings, catering and staff events
Preparing agendas and taking minutes where required
Monitoring licences, certifications, training records and document expiry dates
Liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors and other service providers
Supporting general WHS and compliance administration
Helping improve office systems, processes and ways of working.
About you
We're looking for someone who is highly organised,
approachable and comfortable taking ownership of their work.
You'll be someone who can manage competing priorities without losing sight of the details and who genuinely enjoys helping a team operate effectively.
You'll ideally bring:
Experience in office management, administration, team assistance or a similar business support role
Strong organisation and time-management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Confident written and verbal communication skills
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
Experience with invoicing, expenses, purchasing or general business administration
Confidence dealing with employees, managers, clients, suppliers and contractors
The ability to work independently, use initiative and follow things through
A professional approach and a high level of discretion when handling confidential information.
Experience using MYOB or other ERP/business systems will be highly regarded.
Experience within engineering, construction, mining, infrastructure or industrial services would also be an advantage, particularly if you have previously supported engineers, projects or site-based teams.
A Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration, Business Management or similar is welcomed but not essential relevant experience and capability are more important to us.
Why join CCE?
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a key role within our Queensland operation and work alongside experienced technical and project professionals.
You'll have variety in your work, exposure to different parts of the business and the prospect to improve how things are done rather than simply follow an administration checklist.
We're looking for someone who wants to become a trusted and valued part of the team and make the office their own.
Ready to join us?
If you're an experienced administrator or Office Manager who enjoys variety, takes pride in keeping things organised and likes being the person others can rely on, we'd like to hear from you.
