Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Field Service Technician
JRB DIESEL is looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Field Service Technician to join our team in Ingleburn , NSW.
As a full-time Heavy Vehicle/Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our customers heavy vehicles, trailers, buses & specialized equipment + being on a roster for On-Call 24/7 Breakdown repairs
What you'll be doing
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a variety of heavy vehicles including trucks, trailers and specialized equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues
Conduct inspections and prepare detailed reports on the condition of vehicles
Maintain accurate records of all work performed
Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment
Being on a roster for 24/7 on-call breakdown repairs
Workshop and Field service role available
What we're looking for
Relevant trade qualification in Heavy vehicles or equivalent
Experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, preferably in a Dealership or Fleet environment
HR or HC license advantageous
Solid troubleshooting and diagnostic skills,



with the ability to identify & resolve complex issues
Excellent knowledge of heavy vehicle systems, including engine, transmissions, brakes, electrical and pneumatic systems.
Strong communication skills, able to effectively liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Commitment to continuous learning and a passion for keeping up with industry advancements
