We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Technician to join our team in Croydon Park, SA.
This is a permanent, full-time, field-based position involving regular travel to project sites.
Reporting to the Field Supervisor, you will support the design, installation, maintenance and repair of fixed telecommunications network infrastructure.
In this role, you will:
Assist with site surveys, cable routing and network planning.
Install, configure and test fibre-optic cables and network equipment.
Diagnose faults and complete maintenance, repairs and upgrades.
Maintain accurate test results, network records and as-built documentation.
Provide technical support to customers and project teams.
Work safely and in accordance with company procedures, client requirements and industry standards.
To be successful, you will have:
Minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunications construction,



with a strong understanding of civil and infrastructure projects.
In-depth knowledge of Telstra and NBN fibre and copper networks, including Pit & Pipe infrastructure.
Cert III in Telecommunications Technology or Telecommunications Cabling.
A strong commitment to safety and a proven track record of adhering to OHS regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Construction industry tickets (Construction Card, First Aid, CPR).
Driver's license.
