This is an outstanding opportunity to join a collaborative People & Culture team supporting a large operational and corporate workforce within a complex, values led environment.
Reporting to the General Manager People & Culture and working closely with the People & Safety Leader and broader HR team, this role embeds within an established, function recognised for its collaborative, supportive and inclusive culture.

This position offers an immediate start, with an initial fixed term contract of a minimum seven months, alongside robust potential for an extension or ongoing permanent opportunity within the team.
This is a true HR & People Business Partner position where you'll work alongside General Managers, Senior Leaders, and Frontline Workers providing both strategic and operational HR advice, while helping drive organisational performance, leadership capability and positive workplace culture.
The organisation operates a diverse workforce spanning both blue and white collar employees, supporting a substantial and complex operating model.

Key Responsibilities:




Lead and continually strengthen the full generalist HR function across the organisation, providing strategic guidance and practical support across HR policy ,IR / workforce legislation, recruitment, performance, workforce planning, governance, compliance, and risk management.
Develop trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation, partnering with executives, leaders and employees while providing expert guidance across performance, remuneration, staffing requirements and day-to-day people matters.
Implement HR strategies that align with business goals, driving employee engagement and organisational growth.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while fostering a positive workplace culture, noting there is external support with offsite quality vendors in areas such as legal / safety.
Lead initiatives focused on employee development, training, and succession planning.
Skills and Experience for Optimal Success and Performance: Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or People & Culture Business Partner, supporting complex organisations across the public sector, private sector, or a combination of both.
Proven capability managing complex employee relations, performance management and workplace investigations, in a diverse business.
Experience supporting both operational and corporate environments, ideally across blue and white collar workforces.
Excellent coaching, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.




Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and contemporary HR practices.
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
