We work with clients across construction, transport, manufacturing, mining, government and many other industries, helping businesses maintain safe workplaces throughout Queensland.We're looking for a reliable, professional and motivated person for our Toowoomba office as a Mobile Drug & Alcohol Testing Technician.No previous industry experience is necessary—we provide comprehensive training and ongoing support.About the RoleThis is a mobile field-based position—not a laboratory role.You'll travel throughout the wider Toowoomba region in one of our purpose-built mobile testing vehicles conducting workplace drug and alcohol testing at client sites.Moderate physical fitness is required to carry out mobile testing duties and navigate various workplace environments.Every day is different.
You could be visiting construction sites, transport depots, warehouses, offices or responding to urgent workplace incidents.You'll work independently while enjoying the support of an experienced operations team.What We OfferFull accredited training providedPurpose-built mobile testing vehicle supplied during shiftsApproximately ***** hours per week (with flexibility)Award wages plus applicable penalty ratesA supportive management teamOpportunities for additional hours as the business continues to growPotential pathway to permanent employmentHoursThis is a casual position suited to someone who enjoys variety and flexibility.The role includes:Early morning and daytime workSome 2-3 day bulk testing trips further westAbility to action quick response call outsFlexibility and availability are significant, as some of our clients occasionally require urgent workplace testing.The position does not suit someone who has other life commitments in the mornings as the majority of the work is early morning starts on-site.What You'll Be DoingConduct workplace drug and alcohol testingComplete electronic documentation accuratelyMaintain chain of custody proceduresTransport samples in accordance with company proceduresDeliver professional customer service to our clientsRepresent TDDA QLD with professionalism at every workplaceAbout YouWe're looking for someone who is:Reliable and punctualConfident working independentlyProfessional in appearance and communicationHighly organised with strong attention to detailComfortable using iPads, smartphones and Microsoft OfficeWilling to complete accredited trainingComfortable handling biological specimensAble to build positive relationships with clientsEssential RequirementsCurrent unrestricted manual driver's licence - Toowoomba van is a ManualReliable personal vehicle for travel to and from work if requiredAbility to work flexible casual hoursReside within approximately 20 minutes of Toowoomba central due to operational requirementsSuccessful completion of a pre-employment drug and alcohol screenMinimum age of 18 years is required for this positionAustralian permanent residency or citizenship is requiredWhy Join TDDA QLD?
