Initial 9-month contract with a possible extension Hourly Pay rate of $100-$120 / hour + Super Working ***** per week Work Location: WFH + Canberra Purpose of the role: The Procurement Manager is responsible for coordinating and delivering end-to-end procurement activities to support program of urban development, renewal and land release projects.
The role provides procurement, contract establishment and probity advice across a diverse portfolio of projects.
This role will be required to manage multiple procurement activities concurrently, provide practical advice to project teams, coordinate evaluation processes, and support the transition from procurement to contract execution.
Key Accountabilities: Coordinate end-to-end procurement activities for Land Supply projects, from procurement planning and market approach through to evaluation, approvals, contract creation and procurement close-out.
Work consultatively with Program Directors, Project Managers and subject matter experts to develop clear, fit-for-purpose Statements of Requirements, response schedules, evaluation criteria and supporting procurement documentation.
Prepare and maintain procurement and evaluation plans, ensuring procurement strategies are appropriate to the scope, risk, value, timing and complexity of each activity.
Lead and coordinate tender evaluation processes, including evaluator briefings, probity requirements, moderation sessions, evaluation reports, delegate approvals and contract recommendation documentation.
Support the establishment of contracts following procurement approval, including coordinating contract documentation, approvals, execution requirements and handover to contract managers.
Provide advice on procurement risk, probity,



governance, value for money and documentation standards to ensure procurement activities are transparent, defensible and compliant.
Manage multiple procurement processes concurrently, monitoring timeframes, dependencies, risks and approvals to support project delivery schedules and governance requirements.
Develop and maintain procurement templates, guidance material, registers and process improvements to support consistent procurement practice.
Liaise with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, procurement, governance and project teams, to resolve procurement issues and support timely decision-making.
Contribute to project and program reporting by providing procurement status updates, identifying risks or delays, and supporting escalation where required.
Essential requirements: Strong stakeholder engagement and consultation skills.
High-level written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated judgement, attention to detail and accountability, with the ability to manage competing priorities, balance compliance, probity, value for money and practical delivery requirements, and deliver high-quality outcomes within required timeframes.
