ABOUT THE ROLE
Pulse is seeking an Accounts Payable & Receivable Administrator to support our Finance Manager with the day-to-day finance and payroll administration that keeps the business running.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a hands-on administrative role with no direct reports — you'll take ownership of daily reconciliations, payroll support, and accounts payable and receivable processing across the business, while also lending a hand with broader finance administration as needed.
What You'll Be Doing (And loving!):
Process daily transactions and reconciliations, including banking activity, through our in-house database — managing and resolving discrepancies as they arise
Own end-to-end payroll support: current starter data entry, employee record maintenance, payroll enquiries, and the development of standard reports
Prepare and issue accounts receivable invoices
Process accounts payable payments, generally on the day of request
Support month-end activities and monthly Group financial reporting, as directed by the Finance Manager
Manage monthly subscriptions and their reconciliation
Maintain accurate data entry and data integrity across our finance and payroll systems
Provide broader administrative support to the Finance Manager as needed
What Makes You a Great Fit:
At least 1 yrs experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or broader finance administration
Payroll experience is a strong plus
Comfortable working within finance and payroll databases and software systems, with a genuine interest in technology and process improvement
Excellent attention to detail, particularly around reconciliations and data accuracy
Able to juggle recurring deadlines — weekly reconciliations, monthly payroll, and month-end — without dropping the ball
A clear, proactive communicator who's comfortable liaising across departments
Comfortable working in a support capacity, without people-management responsibilities
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is a plus
Experience in the mining, manufacturing, or resources sector is a strong advantage but not essential
Why Pulse?

If you're ready to step into a role where every day brings variety, a chance to keep learning, and real ownership of the numbers that keep Pulse running, we want to hear from you.
