About the role
VDS Constructions PTY LTD is seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join our team.
As a Carpenter, you will play a vital role in the construction and renovation of residential and commercial projects, using your expertise to deliver high-quality work that meets industry standards.

What you'll be doing
Accurately measuring, cutting, and assembling wooden structures, such as walls, floors, roofs, and stairs
Installing and repairing various types of woodwork, including cabinets, doors, and windows
Interpreting and following architectural plans and blueprints to ensure projects are completed to specification
Collaborating with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure seamless project integration
Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
Providing quality workmanship and exceptional customer service to our clients
What we're looking for
Completion of a recognised carpentry apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
3-5 yearsof proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in the residential and commercial construction sectors
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints




Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to overcome challenges on the job
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Solid attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Excellent time management and organisational skills to ensure projects are completed on schedule
A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
