As a Youth Wellbeing and Connections Support Worker, you will provide compassionate, early intervention support to young people experiencing challenges such as mental health concerns, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, bullying, alcohol and drug issues, and uncertainty about their future.
In this role, you will work closely with young people, their families, and other support networks to promote wellbeing, resilience, and social connection.
You will deliver one-on-one support, coordinate care and case management, facilitate educational workshops and group activities, and collaborate with community organisations to strengthen inclusion, participation, and connectedness.

Your skills and experience
We're looking for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and can build strong, positive relationships within the community.
The ideal candidate will have:
Knowledge of the mental health and wellbeing challenges experienced by young people and their families.
Experience supporting young people with mental health and wellbeing needs.
Skills in delivering engaging education sessions, training, workshops, activities, or events.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of people and stakeholders.
A collaborative and creative approach to working both independently and as part of a team.
Confidence using IT systems and social media platforms.
Experience planning and delivering programs, projects, or community initiatives that achieve positive outcomes.
