About the role
We are looking for an Accounts Payables and Receivables Officer to fill a part time position 4 days per week in our Hobart, Tasmania office.
Key responsibilities
Daily bank reconciliations
Customer invoicing
Accounts Receivable including the proactive management of deposits and final payments
Accounts Payable including monitoring and reporting to management
FX / International transactions – experience an advantage but not essential
Accounts related admin
Maintain orderly accounting records and documents
Reconcile and follow up credit card transactions across the business
Assist the team with accounts related queries and issues
Identify any potential errors occurring and propose a solution to rectify the issues
About you
Previous bookkeeping experience, preferably in Finance Administration and Accounts Payable / Receivable etc
High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines, and work independently
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Comfortable working with multiple software packages
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of customers
