Job Description
The Trustee for Ramana Transport is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our growing logistics team in Darra, Brisbane.
This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of goods across local and regional routes while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.

Task & responsibilities
Safely operate heavy vehicles to transport goods while ensuring efficiency and compliance
Perform vehicle inspections, manage loading/unloading, and secure cargo appropriately
Plan routes, meet delivery deadlines, and maintain accurate logbooks and documentation
Adhere to transport laws, safety standards, and fatigue management requirements
Monitor vehicle condition, report issues,
and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
Qualification & experience
AFQ Certificate II or III in Driving Operations (or equivalent ) preferred
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in related field
Relevant driver's licence (HR, HC, or MC preferred)
Good knowledge of road safety regulations and fatigue management
Ability to operate and maintain heavy vehicles safely
Strong communication and time management skills
Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage
