Assist with daily food preparation (washing, cutting, basic prep work).
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, benches, equipment and storage areas.
Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health & safety procedures.
Support chefs during food service by assisting with plating and ingredient restocking.
Assist with receiving, checking and storing deliveries.
Perform general back-of-house duties as required to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements
Availability for at least 2 days per week.
Currently studying or have completed a qualification inHospitality or a related field(preferred).
Solid communication skills and a positive team attitude.
Willing to learn, reliable and committed to building a career in hospitality.
Must have working eligibility in Australia (subclass 500 and 485 accepted).
Previous kitchen experience is an advantage, but training will be provided.
