Yarra Valley Support Coordination is seeking a reliable and compassionate Support Worker (Casual) to join our team in Lilydale, VIC.This casual position involves providing personalised care and support to clients within the disability services industry.
For the right person, this role could lead to a full-time contract.What you'll be doingAssisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light household tasksAccompanying and supporting clients to access the community, attend appointments, and participate in social and recreational activitiesMonitoring client wellbeing and reporting any changes or concerns to the management teamAdvocating for clients and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure their needs are metMaintaining accurate client records through your shift notes and adhering to all relevant policies and proceduresWhat were looking forPrevious experience working as a Support Worker or in a similar caregiving roleStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clientsGenuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of the elderly and individuals with disabilitiesFlexibility to work a variety of shifts,
