Due to increased workloads, they are seeking an experienced and qualified Switchboard Assembler to join their team in Pakenham.This is initially a 6-week temporary assignment, with the potential to become an ongoing opportunity for the right candidate.Working HoursMonday to Friday6:00 AM to 2:30 PMOptional overtime availableKey ResponsibilitiesAssembly and wiring of electrical switchboardsReading and interpreting electrical schematics and drawingsUsing hand and power tools safely and efficientlyEnsuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with AS/NZS standardsWorking as part of a skilled and supportive teamTo Be Successful You Will HaveMinimum 1 year experience in switchboard assembly or manufacturingRelevant trade qualification such as:ElectricianElectrical FitterStrong understanding of AS/NZS **** Wiring RulesAbility to confidently read and interpret electrical schematicsExperience using hand and power toolsGood level of physical fitnessWillingness to undertake a Drug and Alcohol testLocal to the South East suburbs (preferred)What's In It For You?
