The Role
As a Framing Carpenter, you'll be responsible for installing prefabricated light gauge steel wall frames, floor systems and roof trusses on residential building sites. Working closely with our site supervisors and builders, you'll ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing
Install prefabricated light gauge steel wall frames, floor systems and roof trusses.
Read and interpret construction drawings and installation plans.
Ensure frames are installed accurately and in accordance with engineering specifications.
Work collaboratively with builders, site supervisors and fellow installers.
Maintain a safe and organised worksite, complying with all WHS requirements.
Complete installations efficiently while maintaining exceptional workmanship.
What We're Looking For
Qualified Carpenter (Certificate III in Carpentry preferred).
Previous experience installing residential wall frames and roof trusses (steel framing experience highly regarded).
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Reliable, self-motivated and able to work effectively within a team.
Current White Card.
Current Australian driver's licence and reliable transport.
Own carpentry tools.
