About the Role
I'm looking for an exceptional person to join me full-time as a
Real Estate Assistant / Client Service Manager
.
This is much more than a standard administration position.
You'll work closely alongside McGrath real estate agent Mark Johnson helping manage clients, properties, marketing, appointments and the day-to-day organisation behind a busy real estate business.
The role will be based partly from our office in
Warners Bay
, with much of our property and client work focused around
Western Lake Macquarie, including the **** and **** areas
.
You don't need to know everything about real estate from day one. The right person can be taught the systems, processes and industry knowledge.
What is much harder to teach — and what I'm really looking for — is someone who
genuinely cares about doing a outstanding job
.
I want someone who takes pride in their work, cares about clients, wants to impress, notices the little things and gets satisfaction from doing something properly.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing and following up clients
Answering and making phone calls
Booking and coordinating appointments
Attending property and client appointments
Preparing documents and assisting with contracts
Managing databases and client information
Coordinating property marketing
Helping organise photography, videos and advertising
Social media management across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube
Basic photo and video editing
Assisting with property listings and sales campaigns
Following up buyers and sellers
Helping keep the business organised and running efficiently
Working closely with me on whatever needs to be done to provide an exceptional level of service to our clients
The Person I'm Looking For
Experience is valuable, but

Good person with a strong work ethic
If you're the type of person who wants to do the bare minimum and go home, this probably isn't the right position.
If you're someone who likes being trusted with responsibility, wants to become genuinely valuable to a business and takes pride in becoming excellent at what you do, I'd really like to hear from you.
Experience
Previous experience in real estate, administration, customer service, sales, hospitality or a similar client-facing role would be highly regarded.
However,
real estate experience is not essential
.
I'd rather hire someone with an outstanding attitude and teach them real estate than hire someone experienced who doesn't care about the quality of their work.
Salary & Opportunity
Starting salary: $65,000 per year + bonuses and incentives
Depending on performance, you could reasonably expect to earn approximately
$65,000–$80,000+ per year
, with the opportunity for your remuneration and responsibilities to grow as you become more valuable to the business.
This isn't intended to be a dead-end administration job.
For the right person, there is an chance to take on considerably more responsibility over time and build a genuine career in real estate.
Hours
This is a
full-time, five-day-per-week position
.
Real estate can occasionally require some flexibility around appointments and busy periods, so I'm looking for someone who understands that we're ultimately working around our clients.
