As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced commercial leader to help shape the next chapter of our business.
This is a hands‐on leadership role where you'll personally lead business development across your region while driving commercial growth, mentoring our recruitment team and building a high‐performing commercial culture.
Working closely with our leadership team, you'll play a key role in identifying opportunities, strengthening client partnerships and helping shape the future direction of Direct Personnel moving into senior management and towards a Chief of Revenue upon demonstrating ongoing success.
You'll be backed by an experienced onshore and offshore recruitment team who'll take care of candidate sourcing, compliance and administration, giving you the freedom to spend more time in front of clients and less time behind a desk.
The Role
Personally drive new business across our regions, building long‐term partnerships with new and existing clients
Lead the commercial growth strategy for your regions, identifying opportunities to increase revenue, market share and long‐term client partnerships
Develop and execute business development strategies that support sustainable growth
Mentor and develop our recruitment team, helping them strengthen client relationships, identify commercial opportunities and build confidence in business development
Coach and support the team through client meetings, account planning and business development activities
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline while developing key strategic client relationships
Maintain visibility across CRM, forecasting and pipeline reporting




Work closely with the leadership team to influence commercial strategy, challenge ideas and help drive the future growth of Direct Personnel
Travel throughout our active regions and interstate as required
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who leads by example.
You'll bring:
A proven track record of driving business growth and winning new business
Experience leading, mentoring or developing high‐performing teams
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to think strategically while remaining hands‐on
Outstanding relationship‐building and communication skills
The confidence to challenge ideas, create accountability and inspire those around you
Experience within recruitment, labour hire or industrial services will be highly regarded
Existing relationships across manufacturing, construction, transport, logistics or industrial sectors will be highly regarded
A current driver's licence and willingness to travel
