Your new role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Accounts and Administration Assistant to join a small, high‐performing finance team in a newly created hands‐on role.
Reporting to the CFO, this role combines supporting the team in accounting and administration responsibilities, including assisting with Accounts Payable and Receivable Processing, Administration Support to the Accounts Payable and Receivable Team and varied construction‐specific Accounting and Administration support.
This role will suit someone who is detail‐oriented, proactive,
and eager to contribute to the continued growth and success of the Accounting function.
This is an exciting permanent opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with Accounts Receivable processing and administration support
Assist with Accounts Payable invoice processing and administration support
Support and assistance with daily banking transactions and reconciliations.
Updating and maintaining spreadsheets
Assist with processing end‐of‐month journals, including recurring journals and balance sheet reconciliations
Assist and work collaboratively within the Accounting Team to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
Providing general administrative support including emails, phone enquiries and document preparation
Provide Reception relief when required
What you'll need to succeed
1+ years' experience across Accounts and Administration Support
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
A proactive, team‐focused approach with the ability to work autonomously
Construction or building industry experience (desirable, not essential)
