Nicks Readymix is seeking a
Readymix Concrete Dispatch Slumper
to join our team on a casual basis. This is a hands-on operational role based at our location in
Gympie, QLD ****
. As a dispatch Slumper, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our concrete production facility, ensuring that we maintain our high standards of quality and efficiency whilst meeting customer demands. This position is essential to our ability to deliver consistent, quality concrete products to our clients across the region.
What you'll be doing
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the workplace operation Slumping Readymix Concrete
Operating a Front End Loader
Cleaning and maintaining plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
Following all health and safety procedures and supporting a protected working environment
Communicating effectively with the production team and drivers
What we're looking for
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills, qualifications and experience:
Previous experience in Slumping Readymix Concrete
Basic understanding of concrete production processes and material properties
Front End Loader experience
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and regularly
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work on a casual basis as required
